Moses inaugurated the sacrifice of worship, and it was an evening and morning sacrifice (Exodus 29:39). But David added noon to it, he said in Psalm 55:17 that evening and morning and at noon will I pray and cry aloud, he shall hear my voice.
After that David said evening, noon and morning are not enough. In Psalm 119: 164 he said “Seven times a day will I praise you for your righteous law.” After that, David said seven times is also not enough; He said ” I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth” Psalm 34:1. Offering our sacifice of praise at all times was adopted later in the New Testament. 1 Thessalonians 5: 18, Contemporary English Version says, “Whatever happens, keep thanking God, because of Jesus Christ. God expects us to praise Him at all times. ” Ephesians 5:20 says, ” Always giving Thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
We have three scriptures here that admonish us to give thanks always. 2 Corinthians 13: 16 says, “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”
The song is written with this in mind, the lyrics say, “I will sing of the goodness of the Lord, I will clap and dance to Him. I will shout and testify always”
Has God done a great thing in your life? Praise God with this song. Are you expecting a miracle from God, praise your way into a breakthrough with this song. You can part your Red Sea with a Rod of praise. You can bring manna from heaven with a Rod of worship. You can bring water from the rock with a Rod of gratitude to God. You can bring increase upon your business with thanksgiving. Jesus blessed God for a meal of small lad, and it increased 5,000 times and fed 5,000 men. Listen to this thanksgiving song and be blessed.
