Gospel Urban artiste Benjiszzy comes out with a new outstanding project featuring 12 rappers! The project titled “The Pharisees” is used to foster a strong message amongst the Christian folks to be wary of the doctrines that sway the mind.
“And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?”
“Such erroneous teachings are what God’s Word refers to as ‘leaven.’ That is why Jesus cautioned His disciples, ‘Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees’ (Matthew 16:6). The leaven of the Pharisees was their doctrine of legalism, which judges and condemns people who fail to keep God’s laws. The leaven of the Sadducee was their doctrine of humanism, which discounts the supernatural and teaches that everything can be explained away using reasoning or science” JP
The project (Pharisees) which features twelve (12) rappers cuts across the notion of hypocrisy, marginalization and segregation, delusion, and other facades in the “fold”.
Addressing this delicate subject is a group of well seasoned and worded rappers which include Dr. Barz, Timi Kei, Prinx Emmanuel, Nonso Lampard, TAG, Nona, Ziben, Mephyz, Shady B, Oba Reengy, Jay Mün, Ebi Joseph, and Benjiszzy Zaakii, with refrain by Tariah Ipalibo and background vocals by Edward Patta. It was produced by the phenomenal Tex Jam and mixed and mastered by extraordinary Beckyjay.
