K-Ci Hailey Of “K-Ci & JoJo” Returns To Gospel Roots With Powerful Testimony In “Jesus Saves”

American singer and member of K-Ci & JoJo and Jodeci, K-Ci Hailey returns to his Gospel root with the audio and visual for the single “Jesus Saves,” after years of struggles with addiction and health.

Following years of battle with alcohol addiction and health issues which were so bad the doctor lost hope, K-Ci Hailey is back and better. Following his recovery with the testimony, compiled in the single “Jesus Saves”.

The 6 minutes emotional video started with a short clip from the time the Gospel artist was at his worse state in the hospital and could not even remember his name as he was left fighting for his life.

Things went from bad to worse for the artist as the doctor said it could take up to 6 months before he would be able to walk or talk.  With all hope lost, God decided to show his power as the K-Ci Hailey began to make quick recovery and even beat the doctors expectation.

With a grateful heart and a heart full of joy, K-Ci Hailey returns to what he loves doing the most as he premiers the visual of his top selling single “Jesus Saves”.

K-Ci Hailey’s successful career as a singer, music producer and a songwriter began as a child singing with his father’s gospel group, “Little Cedric (K-Ci) and The Hailey Singers.”

Two of the group’s albums made the Billboard Gospel Album Chart. He alongside his brother, Joel also known as JoJo Hailey joined the Degrate brothers, Devante and Dalvin, to become the group Jodeci, in the early ‘90s. The chart–topping R&B group won 3 Billboard Awards in 1992 and 2 Soul Train Awards.

K-Ci and JoJo partnered with Tupac Shakur in 1996 for the 3 single off the album “All Eyes on Me” titled “How Do You Want It.” They received their first Grammy nod in 1997 for Best R&B Vocal Performance for the song. In 1999 K-Ci and JoJo won an American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Band/Duo/Group and were nominated for 2 Grammy awards for Best R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for “All My Life.”

The Hailey family continues to churn out star singers. American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino, and Grammy Award winners, Stephanie Mills and Anthony Hamilton are also part of the Hailey family musical history.
