– Pastor Taiwo Odukoya Loses Wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya After Battling Cancer For Two Years.
Senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has lost his wife, Nomthi after a two years battle with Cancer.
According to a statement released by the church, the South African wife of the clergyman passed on November 9 after battling cancer for two years.
“With deep regret and gratitude to God, we have to announce the passing of our Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.

“She battled cancer for the better part of 2 years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought.
“We loved her with all our heart, but who are we to fight with the will of God.
“The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Pastor Nomthi,” the statement read.
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya also released a brief statement via his social media handle, saying his wife gave him 11 beautiful years of marriage and 2 beautiful sons.
“With deep regret and gratitude to God, I have to announce the passing of my wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya,” he wrote.
“She battled cancer for the better part of two years. She stood on the word of God, and she fought.”
“She gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life. I loved her with all my heart but who am I to fight the will of God.”
“The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Nomthi.”
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya got married to Nomthi in 2010, four years after the death of his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in a plane crash in December 2005.
The couple had celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in January 2020.
To commiserate with the Odukoyas, Founder and General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, alongside his wife, Faith Oyedepo, visited the family’s residence and were received by Pastor Taiwo.
Bishop David Abioye and Pastor Sam Olubiyo were also present during the visit.
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s children, Tolu and Jimmy, have penned a glowing tribute to their stepmother, Nomthi.
Nollywood actor, Jimmy Odukoya, who is Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya’s son, on Wednesday penned an emotional tribute to his stepmother, Nomthi, stating that he’ll take care of his father and her sons.
Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun also took to her Instagram page to pen a tribute to Nomthi, appreciating the deceased for taking care of her father.
“Aunty Nom, You were such a beautiful light, an authentic Christian, and a woman that truly loved God,” she wrote. “You were such a fighter. Cancer didn’t win; God wanted you all to himself and called you home.
“To say we will miss you is an understatement. Thank you for Tim-Tim and Jom-Jom. Thank you for loving my Dad the way you did. No more pain, Aunty Nom. Rest in the bosom of our Lord till we meet again to part no more. Good night, Aunty Nom.”
