Nigerian gospel artiste, Dunsin Oyekan on Wednesday marked the third year remembrance of his wife’s death, Adedoyin via his Instagram page.
Dunsin’s wife died three years ago, on the 18th of May, 2019. She left him with two children.
The gospel artiste recalled how his wife was a lover of Christ and how she served the Lord with all of her being, while she was still on alive.
He, despite realizing she is no more after three years revealed that the Lord is forever good.
Although the cause of her death wasn’t disclosed, the gospel minister revealed how he was able to pull through and come out of the shock and how he is still learning to cope.
During a worship, Dunsin sang a song “I’ll be here” and he said this song came as a special word when Dunsin Oyekan wife’s death happened in 2019.
“This song came in pain. I lost my wife in the middle of tears, in the middle of pain, the only person I could run to, is God and I said to the Lord in one of those days ;“I”ll be here lifting hands even when it doesn’t seem easy,” he said.
Dunsin Oyekan, marking her 3rd year remembrance wrote, “3 Years today… GOD IS GOOD!
“Oh you loved and served God in me. Yes you did!
