Nigerian gospel singer and Vocal coach, OluwaShalom is out with a brand new song titled “Baba Ara” produced by Nathan Florocka Akiremi.
The exquisite singer in this folklore tune shares a very intuitive description of God as a “Wonder Working God.”
According to her, “in a world full of fears, anxieties and uncertainties, we all need a voice of hope. Hope that does not deny the existing realities, but presents a higher knowledge that ushers us into a place of peace and sanity and strength to face it all and reach out in faith for a win in the end.“

“Jesus Christ is that hope, that strength the one who places value on our lives and more than any other. He is the “Baba ara to m’oyi ooo” –
The father of wonders who values his children.” – she concludes.
The Yoruba [a language widely spoken in the southwestern region of Nigeria] titled song “Baba Ara” simply translates verbatim as “Wonder Working Father.”
OluwaShalom is not a stranger to the gospel music scene as she ahas a resume of top charting songs such as, “I Believe,” “Oba Ara,” “Dear Me,” and “Broken Piano” to mention a few.
She has also worked with notable names on the gospel scene such as Onos Ariyo, Mike Abdul, Gbenga Akinfenwa, Amy Berna, and Lester Lewis, as well as a myriad of producers such as, Rotimikeys, MichaelTone, Phatstrings, Juzzypro and Florocka.
OluwaShalom is officially linked with working with the Rockanation family headed by Florocka.

Lyrics:
I don’t know what tomorrow brings
But today I have a song to sing
About the one who says I’m worth more than a sparrow
My life is in his hands
Chorus:
I put my trust in Jesu
I hold on to His word
He’s never failed me before
He’ll never let me down
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Igbagbo nine Jesu
(Faith in Jesus)
Ki mama I je k’ou ti’ ni
(Does not let one be put to shame)
So today if you see me smiling
Singing hallelujah to the fight
It is because I have a father
Baba ara to m’oyi omo re o
(The father of wonder who values His child)
I put my trust in Jesu
I hold on to His word
He’s never failed me before
He’ll never let me down
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Jehovah is my father
Baba Ara to m’oyi omo
(The father of wonder who values His child)
