Maverick City Suspends Dante Bowe Due To Inconsistent Behavior

Grammy award-winning collective Maverick City Music recently announced on social media they have decided to suspend Dante Bowe, due to his inconsistent behavior towards their core values and belief.

This suggests that the choir could continue working with the singer in the future, but as of right now, he is not part of the group and will not be singing with them.

Due to behavior that is inconsistent with our core values and beliefs, we have decided to put a pause on our professional relationship with Dante Bowe,” they wrote in a statement.

The worship group does not give any details on the behavior that led to the decision. However, the Instagram statement adds;

Dante is a brother in Christ and as such he has our full commitment and unwavering support as he continues to navigate his path forward.”

Following the group’s announcement, Bowe shared that he is taking a break from social media and making his account private.

Dante Bowe said;

In light of recent events and opinions, I’ve talked to some of the wisest leaders and brothers around me. I’ll be taking time off social media to rest mentally and physically.”

He posted an apology after he changed his mind from taking a social media hiatus but the apology was later deleted.

Bowe is scheduled to kick off his “Joyful” tour in late October. Currently, the tour website is still selling tickets, but one of his concerts scheduled for Virginia Beach, VA has reportedly been canceled.
