– Pastor Tunde Bakare Unbothered By APC Camp Members Attacks
Senior pastor of the Citadel Global Community Church, Tunde Bakare has hit out on critics from the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), Bola Tinubu, says he his proud of scoring zero votes at the primary election.
Pastor Bakare while addressing his congregation on Sunday already told them to do away with any candidate who sees the presidency as an entitled position.
Reacting to the statement were the media handlers of the APC presidential candidate, who described him as a paperweight politician after getting zero in the parties primary election.

“Can someone tell these people that i scored votes zero in a primary election with true honor, identity and integrity intact as well having original credentials from well-known schools: Primary, Secondary, colleges and University within and outside of this nation is a veritable badge of honour, absolutely legit and unquestionable?
“Why are they then giving any thought to what I said? Maybe their alleged paperweight is too heavy for them to carry.”
He added, “One of the Special Advisers that I thought had some semblance of nobility had to utter outright lies and falsehoods to satisfy his paymaster.
“I did a video asking members of our church to vote for their candidate and then turned around to ask them not to vote for him. Unfortunately, there is no such video containing such falsehood.”
Pastor Tunde Bakare had advised Nigerians to shun those promoting ‘emilokan’, a term associated with Tinubu and which means “my turn” in Yoruba.
This has rocked the boat of the APC camp so much that the Presidential Campaign Council PCC of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had described Bakare as a political paperweight whose utterances should not be given serious thought.
In response, Pastor Tunde Bakare is unbothered by the attacks from APC camp.
“Rest assured, I will take the vicious APC attacks of these political merchants in my stride, because I know that according to Voltaire: “Many are destined to reason wrongly, others not to reason at all and some to persecute those who do reason.”
