The 65th annual Grammy Awards held on Sunday, 5th of February 2023. The show was held in Las Vegas and Trevor Noah returned as the host for the third time.
Maverick City and Kirk Franklin who were awarded winners of the best gospel performance, during last year’s edition, became the first Gospel artists in 20 years to perform during the ceremony.
Kirk Franklin who has 19 awards, grabbed 3 extra at the ceremony yesterday night.
Franklin and the group earned trophies for best gospel album “One Deluxe”, gospel song/performance “Kingdom” and contemporary Christian song/performance “Fear Is Not My Future”.
