-American Idol’s Top 8 Finalists Sees Gospel Singers Make The List
About 3 gospel singers were on Monday night listed among the top 8 finalist for the next round of the singing in American Idol.
Megan Danielle, Haven Madison and Warren Peay made it to the top eight in the competition on Monday. They would be competing with other contestants, for a recording contract and a prize of $250,000.
During Megan’s audtion, she wowed fellow gospel singer Lauren Daigle, whom she considered as an inspiration to her.
After advancing to the top eight, Danielle took to Instagram to thank God and her supporters.
“Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart! This was one of my most challenging performances but what a way to honor my papa! Thank you God!”

While Madison (17) who is the youngest among the trio took to her social media page to also thank her supporters. She said;
“I am speechless! Thank you to everyone who has continued to vote and support my journey on @americanidol – This continues to be the dream of a lifetime, and I could not do it without you cheering me on! I am so grateful. Now… rest up! You’ll need your energy to vote for me again next week!”
Peay, who also made the top eight list on Monday said;
“I cannot put into words how it feels to be in the Top 8! It means the world to me to know you have all voted me this far into the competition, and I hope I can continue to make you all proud! To God be the glory!” Peay said.
