Nigerian gospel minister, Victoria Orenze, has been ordained an “Apostle,” by Bishop Wale Oke and Pastor Chris Delvan.

The ceremony, which took place recently, was officiated by Pastor Chris Delvan, with notable figures such as gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey and Bishop Wale Oke also in attendance. The veteran gospel minister was called into an higher office to boldly teach, preach and sing the word of God to the nations of the earth.

However, the ordination of Victoria Orenze into the apostolic office, has sparked widespread discussions. Many have questioned the role of women in church leadership and the appropriateness of this ordination.
