-Chris Okafor Church Shut Down By Canadian Government
A church affiliated with Nigerian cleric Pastor Chris Okafor has reportedly been shut down in Canada, according to claims circulating online.
Nigerian-Canada–based activist Jimmy Jaf alleged that the Greater Liberation City International Ministry Centre, located in Toronto, Ontario, has been formally dissolved and is no longer legally recognised to operate in Canada.
The activist asserted that Canadian authorities have revoked the church’s status, meaning it can no longer function as a registered religious organisation.

The church has been dissolved and can no longer operate in Canada, the speaker said, calling on immigration officials to take action.
As of the time of publication, neither Pastor Chris Okafor, the Greater Liberation City International Ministry Centre, nor any Canadian government agency has issued an official statement confirming or denying the reported shutdown.
The reports emerge amid wider controversy surrounding Pastor Okafor, which has attracted attention both in Nigeria and online.
