– Femi Lazarus Plan Trust Fund for Girls Facing Teenage Pregnancy
Nigerian pastor Femi Lazarus has announced plans to establish a trust fund aimed at supporting girls facing teenage pregnancy across Nigeria.
The initiative, which is currently in its planning phase, is designed to provide financial assistance, educational support, and counseling services to vulnerable teenage mothers who often face stigma, abandonment, and limited access to opportunities.
Speaking on the motivation behind the proposed trust fund, Lazarus emphasized the need for the church and society to move beyond condemnation and instead offer structured support to young girls navigating unplanned pregnancies.

According to him, many teenagers who become pregnant are left without emotional, financial, or institutional backing, making it difficult for them to continue their education or build stable futures.
Teenage pregnancy remains a significant social challenge in parts of Nigeria, particularly in underserved communities where access to reproductive health education and economic opportunities is limited.
Advocates argue that without structured intervention, many young mothers are at risk of dropping out of school permanently, facing economic hardship, or experiencing social exclusion.
