Nigerian gospel singer, Kenny K’ore, has opened up about the reason behind his noticeable absence from the music scene, revealing that his relocation abroad in search of better opportunities contributed to his time away from the spotlight.
Kenny K’ore’s absence from music sparked curiosity among fans before he finally explained the reason for his break from the industry.
The “Eledumare” crooner made this known during a recent interview, where he also shared his thoughts on the trending “Holy Spirit Carry Me” videos circulating on social media.
Speaking about his hiatus from the industry, the singer explained that his decision to relocate outside Nigeria in pursuit of greener pastures for his family affected his visibility in the gospel music scene.

“Regarding my hiatus from the music scene, I relocated abroad in pursuit of greener pastures and better opportunities for my family.
“Although my ‘japa’ journey has not been without its challenges, my heart remains grateful.
“Being away from the limelight has helped me realise that I am involved in gospel music primarily for the love of God and country.”
Kenny K’ore rose to prominence as a member of the gospel group Infinity before launching his solo career and becoming known for several popular gospel songs, including “Eledumare.”
