– Oluremi Tinubu Preaches On God’s Mercy At Lambeth Palace
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, preaches a message centered on God’s mercy and compassion during a sermon at Lambeth Palace, as part of the Nigerian delegation’s recent state visit to the United Kingdom.
Remi Tinubu and her husband, the President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu were welcomed to Lambeth Palace by the Secretary General of the Anglican Communion, Rt Revd Anthony Poggo.
They were joined by Rt Revd Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy, the Church of England’s lead bishop for interfaith relations, Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover, and Rt Revd Dr Emma Ineson, Acting Bishop of London. David Smith MP, special envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief, was also in attendance.

Speaking at the historic residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Mrs. Tinubu emphasized the importance of daily renewal through divine mercy, noting that God’s grace provides “fresh benefits” each day.
“It’s as if we’ve been here for a whole month,” Senator Oluremi Tinubu told the congregation at Lambeth Palace Chapel. “It has been hectic and full of a lot of good things.”
“This is the only time God is referred to as being ‘rich’ in anything at all: mercy,” she declared. “There are things I dwell on – fresh manna in the morning. God doesn’t give us anything stale, he always gives us things that are fresh.
“The mercy I have today is different from the mercy I had yesterday. God gives us benefits, fresh benefits, fresh mercy and fresh bread every day.”
