– CLIMA Africa Hits Lagos For 10Th Anniversary! See Eligible Categories
The Intercontinental Gospel Awards in Africa CLIMA is set for the 10th Anniversary in Lagos on October 9th 2026. The Christian Legendary and Impact Makers Awards in Africa (CLIMA AFRICA) which was inaugurated on August 2016 at Christian Ecumenical Center in Abuja has become a household name globally. According the CEO, Mr. Uwak Mike, the 2025 edition held in Johannesburg, South Africa attracted people from 15 countries while the 10th edition promises to be bigger and better with attendance from over 20 countries.
As CLIMA Africa hits Lagos, He also disclosed that 2026 Awards will be non-voting, an as such entry will be received on the website www.climaafrica.org from May 1- 31 while the suitable Awardees will be selected and contacted by the Awards Academy. This is to enable them celebrate the real impact makers not those who can rally around for votes. He finally solicits for partnership from churches, organizations, private companies and lovers of the kingdom of God to support this movement.
The categories and eligibility are:
IMPACT MAKERS
- AFRICA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
(This award goes to any man or woman of African descent who has made tremendous impacts in different walks of life for 3 decades or more. He she must be alive and still serving humanity in their capacity. Their legacy must speak volume and their character must be worthy of emulation)
- AFRICA POSITIVE IMPACT HUMANITARIAN AWARD
(This award goes to men or women who has chosen to serve humanity in different areas of life, such as feeding the poor, clothing the needy, scholarships etc. with feasible proofs of impacts, preferably owners of impactful NGOS)
- AFRICA OUTSTANDING PASTOR OF THE YEAR
(This award is the celebration of the grace of God upon any Pastor of African descent who has raised a generation for the sustenance of our faith. Preaching undiluted word of God backed by tangible physical empowerment of Christians in such a time as this and also lived a life worthy of emulation. There must be tremendous impacts within this season.)
- AFRICA POSITIVE IMPACT PASTOR AWARD
(This award is a celebration of grace upon the lives of Pastors who have been consistent in their teaching of the word of God, services to God and humanity, impacting generations and still standing in the faith. It is strictly for Pastors who have been in ministry for over 2 decades)
- AFRICA POSITIVE IMPACT CREATIVE AWARD
(This award is the celebration of impacts made by Christians in the creative industry, such as media, movies, public speaking, writing etc. with tangible impacts and proofs. The recipients must have been impactful for at least a decade.)
- AFRICA OUTSTANDING WOMEN IN MINISTRY AWARD
(This award is the celebration of grace of God upon the lives of women in ministry. They might be founders of ministries or Pastors’ wives with tremendous impacts with the message of transformation or tangible impacts in any area of life)
- AFRICA POSITIVE IMPACT ENTREPRENEUR AWARD
(This award is the celebration of successful Christian Entrepreneurs who has proven to the world that God is everything. With tremendous impacts in the business circle and lifestyle worthy of emulation.)
- AFRICA POSITIVE IMPACT ADVOCACY AWARD
(This award is the celebration of those who has chosen a specific cause and policy, represented others and also ensured that the voice of the people is heard, have access to transformation and the rights of the citizens are protected)
- AFRICA POSITIVE IMPACT MAKERS AWARD
(This award is the celebration of Christian professionals who have contributed positively to the growth of the society, human capacity development or tangible impacts in their careers.)
- AFRICA POSITIVE IMPACT WOMEN AWARD
(This award is the celebration of women in different career path who have good track record that women can do exploits if the opportunity is given. Such women must have been impactful for 15 years and above in different walks of life.)

(This award is the celebration of Gospel Music Artiste who have been in the gospel music ministry for over 30 years with tremendous impacts beyond human comprehension. It is for the fathers and mothers of the industry.)
- AFRICA GLOBAL MUSIC IMPACT AWARD
(This award is the celebration of Gospel Music Artiste of African descent who have made impacts across the shores of Africa by the grace of God. Some of which their songs have become global sounds or through continued hosting by global platforms)

(This award is the celebration of several African Gospel Music Artiste who are making impacts in Africa through songs release, concerts, hosting etc. the recipient must be have been in the industry for at least 10 years)

(This award is the celebration of an Eastern African Gospel Ariste who have become a voice in the gospel music industry for at least 10 years and still counting. Their names must have become a brand for Christ and their sound must have become too familiar to both young and old)

(This award is the celebration of a Southern African Gospel Ariste who have become a voice in the gospel music industry for at least 10 years and still counting. Their names must have become a brand for Christ and their sound must have become too familiar to both young and old)
