– Oyo Student Abducted – Pastor Jerry Eze Raises Insecurity Alarm
Senior Pastor of Streams of Joy International, Pastor Jerry Eze, has expressed deep concern over the growing insecurity affecting Oyo school student who were abducted in the state.
In an emotional reaction during a church service, the cleric lamented the plight of the victims, describing the incident as heartbreaking and painful.
He revealed that the tragedy nearly caused him to cancel the church’s Children’s Day celebration as he reflected on the suffering of the abducted children and their families.

According to Pastor Eze, the thought of young children being held captive under harsh conditions was disturbing, especially considering the psychological trauma they may face even after regaining freedom.
“The people closest to me know I was on the brink of cancelling the Children’s Day celebration,” he said, while praying for the safe return of the victims.
He called on security agencies and relevant authorities to intensify efforts toward rescuing the abducted pupils and teachers while also strengthening measures to protect schools across the country.
