– Pastor Sarah Omakwu Says Divorce Remains Wrong Regardless Who

Senior Pastor of Family Worship Centre, Sarah Omakwu, has reiterated her biblical stance against divorce, insisting that it remains wrong regardless of who is involved.

Speaking during a sermon, Omakwu said no Christian leader should be used as the standard for determining what is right or wrong, stressing that Scripture, not personalities, should remain the believer’s ultimate authority.

Making what she described as a bold statement, the cleric said that even if respected Christian leaders such as Enoch Adeboye, David Oyedepo, William Kumuyi or other prominent fathers of the faith were to divorce, it would not make divorce acceptable.

According to her, believers must evaluate every issue through the lens of the Bible rather than the actions or experiences of influential individuals. She maintained that God’s standard does not change based on the status, reputation or popularity of any minister.

Omakwu emphasised that Christians should remain committed to biblical teachings on marriage, arguing that faith should be anchored on God’s Word instead of human examples.
