Nigerian medical expert and content creator, Dr. Chinonso Egemba better known as Aproko Doctor, has revealed he battled with brain tumor, and has now returned to the faith life after staying away for a long time.
The content creator who left the faith life, disclosed that he had been fighting with the brain tumor since December last year, as he also went blind on one side of his eyes.
“For the past three weeks or two weeks, I have been fighting for my life. Some of you have no idea. It happened that I was diagnosed with Craniopharyngioma which is a brain tumour and I had no idea I would be sharing my story.
“Here I am sitting on this seat sharing my own story about how I had a tumour in my brain. It was so bad that I couldn’t read out of my phone anymore to the point where this eye, I couldn’t read with it and it was also closing. They said it is a Craniopharyngioma and we need to do surgery to remove it,” he said.
Throughout December of 2022, I was fighting for my life. I went blind in one eye on the 3rd of Dec. 2022 & on the 5th, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Today I stand here before you to share my story. It has been a long road to recovery but each day is better than the last. pic.twitter.com/PECblk7Q73

In a recent post made by the medical expert, he revealed he had gone astray from the presence and the things of God due to his bad experiences in the church.
According to him, he noted that for many years his focus was hustling and making money. But deep down there was a void on the inside of him that only Jesus can fill and he knew and hated it because it was hard for him to get back on track with God.
Then he said that during this period, one of his friends, everything changed totally. He said;
“I met @MojiDelanoBlog, we had been friends for a while, but more like acquitances. It was when I was down with that brain tumor that I saw another side of Moji, deeply spiritual and loving, The conversation about spirituality came up and I learnt how to pray afresh.
“But this time, not from a place of fear but one of love and the knowledge that God was not using the situation to teach me a lesson.”
I WISH WE COULD BE MORE ACCOMODATING.
I stayed away from church for many years because of many personal reasons. Those who knew me then knew me as Pstr Bobby. 😇
But I was hurt and disillusioned and hated it because it was getting difficult to find my way back
