-Moses Korede Laid To Rest – Gospel Actor Buried In Oyo State
Moses Korede Are, a veteran actor who was most famous for playing Baba Gbenro in the popular Mount Zion television series “Abattoir,” has been buried.
The 65-year-old gospel filmmaker and actor, who passed away in November 2024 after battling liver disease, was given a befitting farewell by loved ones, colleagues, and admirers.
Moses Korede Laid To Rest
The movie star was laid to rest in Ogbomosho, Oyo state.
His burial, held amid solemn hymns and heartfelt prayers, took place on Friday, with mourners dressed in white and blue to honour his legacy.
He was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso.
Baba Gbenro is survived by his wife, Bamike Are, and two children, a boy and a girl, as well as a host of family members, protégés, and admirers who will continue to uphold his legacy.
