Nigeria’s Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, visited the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) to express her gratitude to God after the team’s thrilling 3-2 win over Morocco in the WAFCON final.
During the visit, Ajibade presented her winner’s medal to the church and shared her testimony before the congregation.
Ajibade recounted her journey, highlighting her earlier visit to the church after helping the team qualify for the Olympics for the first time in 16 years.

She also opened up about the personal struggles she faced during her club season, including injuries and pains that left her feeling uncertain.
Despite these challenges, Ajibade credited the church’s Power Must Change Hands program and the prayers she received for helping her navigate those difficulties.

“Then in May, while playing for my club, I had a very tough season. I came here for a deliverance service, but I was dealing with pain and injuries,” she said.
Despite the challenges, she played a key role in helping Nigeria win the tournament and was named Most Valuable Player of the competition.
