Popular comedian Apkororo proposed to his girlfriend during a church service yesterday at the Ultimate Power Ministry in a service that had other comedians in attendance such as Shortfamily, Laffdoctor, Wiseone and Ovie.
It was as the service was ending with its input of entertainment which included song ministration, dance and comedy that Akpororo who had been off the scene after his performance popped the question, according to an eye witness account. First he had children walked up the podium carrying cardboard paper, and when they got to the middle, they all turned to face the congregation as they open the cardboard paper which had the bold inscription – “Will You Marry Me?” on it.
While the whole congregation was still trying to make sense of what was going on, the Bishop in-charge Bishop Israel Mathew, walked up and said, “one of my sons is asking someone here this question”, it was at this point that Akpororo walked up to the altar and knelt down in front of the light skinned lady among the Explicit Dance Crew and popped the question. The elated Josephine with tears and laughter said yes.
