Since we have been crucified with Christ it means we are dead to the works of the flesh because that is what Jesus died for; to kill the sinful Adamic old nature that we had so that after he resurrected, the life we now live is one of faith, because we walk by faith and not by sight.
This finished work of Christ on the cross has set us free from every manifestation of the flesh, be it sickness , disease, pain, pressure, depression, addiction, so that we do not need to go back to them again.
