Support pours in against Rev. Funke Adejumo ban petition
With +23,000 signatures in support, standing against the petition to ban Rev. Funke Adejumo from enetring the UK, it is safe to say the woman of God has risen above the hate campaign.
The petition to Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party Theresa May MP was started by Mayowa Olaiya on change.org. This was after OAP Daddy Freeze with the notoriety of attacking pastors started building up a campaign against the preacher potraying various videos on social media where she made alter call for monetary seeds to be sown.
It was quickly followed by Daniel Audu and Simon Peter‘s petition for the US and EU respectively.
Coming with the massive support for Rev. Funke Felix-Adejumo, clerics and notable figures across the country has raised their voices in support of the preacher.
Rev. Mrs.Laurie Idahosa, the wife of Bishop F.E. Benson Idahosa, lent her voice in support of the preacher saying:
“I don’t need to write any long explanation. If you know me and what I stand for and you know her, you’ll know why #istandwithfunkeadejumo #awesomewomanofGod”
General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, in a Youtube video says,
“I was a journalist, there is nothing you will write about me that will get to me, I won’t even read it and now its a woman of God, Reverend Funke Adejumo that they are busy attacking. It is not right, it is not fair and it will not stand. We stand by her at this time. We pray for her that this will be promotion for her ministry…”
Leke Adeboye, the last son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has shown his support for the preacher whom he describes as “mother/sister.” He said he expects more support for Funke Adejumo than he is seeing.
Rev. Funke Adejumo who is yet to directly respond to the aligation or the support, posted a video clip on her Instagram today, having been offline for a short period. She can be seen rejoicing and praising God alongside other woman and Gospel singer Sinach. She captioned the post:
“It is a good thing to give thanks. FFA. Honouring God and blessing humanity.”
If they can stop Jesus, let them go on. Rev. Funke is coming out of this BIGGER AND GREATER.
