The 56th Grammy Awards took place overnight (Central African Time Zone) at the Staple Center in Los Angeles, California, USA. So glad Tasha Cobbs won for best contemporary Christian music performance. “Break Every Chain” is worth dozens of awards. Other winners include Tye Tribbet and Mandisa.
Tasha Cobbs, who lost her father last week gave a heartfelt acceptance speech. Both Tribbett and Cobbs are on Motown Gospel Records and gave the label a lot to cheer about this season. Tribbett served as a presenter during the ceremony and also took home two Grammys.
