Dante Bowe Returns To Gospel Music After Staying Off For A While

Grammy award-winning artiste Dante Bowe, who was suspended by Gospel music group Maverick City due to his inconsistent behavior towards their core values is set to return to gospel music again.

In a recent interview, Dante revealed his split from the group which was surprising as he also talked about his new music journey while he took some time off.

I mean, it’s been an incredible journey the last few months. I feel healthier than ever. Better than ever. Brighter than ever. Feel closer to God. Yeah, I’m good,” he said.

Maverick City Music announced on their social media page in 2022 that they have decided to suspended Dante Bowe, due to his inconsistent behavior towards their core values and belief.

Due to behavior that is inconsistent with our core values and beliefs, we have decided to put a pause on our professional relationship with Dante Bowe,” they wrote in a statement.

Following the group’s announcement, Bowe shared that he is taking a break from social media and making his account private.

Dante Bowe said;

In light of recent events and opinions, I’ve talked to some of the wisest leaders and brothers around me. I’ll be taking time off social media to rest mentally and physically.”

It was speculated that the splitting between the two parties was because Bowe promoted Bad Bunny and Lil Nas X music. While he also made a video of him dancing and singing to their songs.

You know, God’s going to use people and things to catapult you into your next step,” Bowe told CBN News. “So, I don’t think it was like something that shouldn’t have happened. I think it should have happened because now I have this incredible team.

I’ve rebuilt my infrastructure with the most incredible people and most incredible producer, John John, who’s helped me release Hide Me, and this entire album, Press Play.

I don’t think that would have happened if, you know, just certain things didn’t occur. The trials are not in vain. Nothing is wasted. Nothing’s in vain,” he added.

Bowe’s new single, “Hide Me,” was released earlier this month.

I think this entire season has been me under the shadow of the Almighty. I felt so hidden and so protected and close to Him.

”I think a lot of people would think I felt, you know, a little down or out or depressed even maybe. But I really felt very protected by the Lord in the season of my life,” Bowe told CBN News.
