– New Music By Obiora Obiwon Tagged Great Again

Veteran music minister Obiora Obiwon shares new timely single just in time for the highly anticipated 2023 general elections and he tags this one “Great Again”.

Sharing his thought process while working on the song, he said; “Join me to sing and declare the hope that has risen this season in our polity and in all our hearts for a new and different Nigeria in the run up to the 2023 general elections.

“Here is the story of this song: I had never believed, more like had been indifferent, about Nigeria’s path to greatness. Not until I heard a mentor of mine speak passionately about his dream and belief of a new and great Nigeria and I was taken.

“I went back home and the words to ‘Great Again’ started rolling out. I sat on it and put it together, then called up my friend and producer Phat E. We were blessed to churn it out over a uniquely blended pop tune at the late legendary Sammie Okposo’s studio.

“I put it on YouTube, shared with our blogs. This was February 2011. Fast forward 12 years later to February 2023 and every lyric, situation and hope reflected in that song has become more relevant and deeply needed more than ever before.

“I humbly and joyfully present to you, the 2023 remastered and reissue version of ‘Great Again’. We say Nigeria arise out of your rot and ashes now, shine and become great again, for the glory of the Lord is risen over you” He concluded.
