–Pastor Enoch Adeboye Turns 81 As He Celebrates Birthday
Stepping into the birthday of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the world has already begun celebrating Pastor Enoch Adeboye by hosting 81 days marathon praise in honor of the veteran leader.
The annual event is observed yearly to celebrate the great man of God has he marks a new milestone, celebrating his birthday March 2.
Born in 1942 into a humble family in the village of Ifewara, Osun State located in the South-western part of Nigeria Pastor Enoch Adeboye often humorously states that his family was so poor that even the poor people called them poor. As a matter of fact, he unashamedly tells his congregation that he never owned shoes until he was eighteen years of age. He obtained his Bachelors (BSc.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Nigeria, Nnsukka, Nigeria in 1967 and also a Masters (MSc.) Degree in Hydrodynamics and a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria in 1969 and 1975 respectively.
In 1981 Enoch Adeboye was ordained the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God which at the period had 42 other parishes.

As the gospel world unite to celebrate Pastor Adeboye on his 81st birthday, many have taken out their time to wish the veteran pastor a blessed birthday.
The annual event saw the likes of Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Mercy Chinwo, Mr M & Revelation and other anointed gospel artiste performed and led thousands of people into deep praise and worship
Pastor Adeboye, celebrating his birthday via a post on his social media page said;
”More Than 81 Reasons To Thank My Maker.”
