“Go your way–eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.”
-Ecclesiastes 9:7

I was in church yesterday morning… Oh well, like every other Sunday morning and when it was time for the sermon, the minister stepped away from the pulpit and into the congregation, he asked the church to form small groups and hold each other, then he taught us a song that talked about agape love that Christ has embedded in us, after which we sang it to each other.

Moments later, we had to leave the group we are and find someone else to sing the song to – this was one on one and mostly, people you don’t know too well. The exercise dragged and some got tired but I had fun!

I used to think catching fun means being in clubs, in bars, getting that ‘hot girl’ and things similar. In those years, I was unguarded and drifted off God’s purpose for my life. This caused me to live in frustration but when God’s Love found me, those things I thought were precious and held dear just weren’t fun anymore and a simple thing as expressing God’s Love to another person in a group song became so meaningful to me that I had to capture the moment in pictures.

In my mind, it painted a picture of how we will join the angels in the golden City to sing “holy, holy” to the most high.

The Real Fun is Making Heaven

The Real Fun is Making Heaven

I said to myself, “this is fun, right in this moment, I am living.”

Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life, I guess a portion of what He was talking about is what was exemplified in church on Sunday. The true (The Truth) way (The Way) to live a fun life (The Life).

These are my thoughts…

  1. I totally agree with you. Seeing thus, when GOD created man in HIS image and likeness, it was not just that those were a mere phrase of description. No, it was to let us know that GOD duplicated HIMSELF in sphere of character and imagery. To make it clearer to us, HE came in flesh to show us that HIS creation and characteristics of man was not just superficial but that HIS structured HIMSELF into a small portions in various numbers thats why we are called “beings” for he continuosly reproduces HIMSELF as HIS expectations of what HE requires from us. Love remains HIS basic expectations from us, for when we develop this basic attribute, we are practically exibiting GOD’s existence in us and that is the only time you can be at peace. That invariably is GOD’s basic purpose for our lives…
