“But after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”
– Matthew 26:32
Only Jesus can make an appointment beyond the grave and keep it because He is the resurrection and the life.
Jesus was that consistent in that He fulfilled all that was written in the scripture concerning Him by the prophet, even while He was dead, His bones were not touched as it is written that not one of His bones shall be broken.
He told His disciples He will go ahead of them into Galilee before His death, when the angels met with the women after He died, they told them the same thing and so did Jesus when He appeared to the women after His resurrection.
“Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, He goes before you into Galilee; there you will see Him.’ Behold, I have told you.”
– Matthew 28:7
As we celebrate His resurrection today, let’s also reflect on the things the scripture has said and how consistent those that has been fulfilled are. If He had promised you a thing, then He will bring it to past. More importantly, if He said He will come back again, then He will and this time, not as the carpenter’s son but as the King of kings!
Happy Resurrection!
