PSO1313…Finally Billy knelt down to pray still frustrated about having such a hectic day. haven let out a sigh, He began questioning God…

Billy: Dear Father, can I ask u a question?

God: Sure, Billy.

Billy: promise u won’t get mad at me?

God: I promise.

Billy: Why did u let so much happen to me
today?

God: How do u mean?

Billy: Well I woke up late,

God: Yes…

Billy: My car wouldn’t start so I can still get to work earlier than I did.

God: Okay…

Billy: At lunch they made me the wrong
sandwich and I had to wait as they prepared
another.

God: Hmmm…

God: Alright…

Billy: …and on top of it all, wen I got home I just
wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massager
and relax, but it wouldn’t work! Nothing went right! Why did u do that?

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9

God: Alright now let me see… First, death was at your bedside this morning and I had to send one of my angels to battle him for your life, I let u sleep
through that.

Billy: (Humbled) oh…

God: I did not want your car to start because there
was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if were on the road and would have killed you.

Billy: (Ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn’t want you to catch
the flu, I knew u couldn’t afford to miss work.

Billy: (Embarrassed)

God: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I did not even let u talk to him so you could be covered.

Billy: (Softly) I see Father.

God: Oh… on the foot massager,it had shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark.

Billy: Dear Father, I’m so sorry.

God: Don’t be sorry, just learn to trust me in all
things, the good and the bad.

Billy: I will trust You more Father.

God: …and don’t doubt because my plan for your day is always better than your plan.

Billy: I won’t, and Father let me thank You for
everything today.

God: You are welcome my child, its just another
day being your Father and God and I love looking after my children.

“In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”
