“‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
– Revelation 21:4

There are some things we come across through our journey in life that seems very inconsequential at the time of encounter but becomes one of the brick that forms the foundation of life even as we grow.

So is Revelation 21:4 to me. As a young boy in primary school, we were required to come to the morning assembly at 8am with our SOP – Songs of Praise. One of the songs in the book (SOP) is a piece composed out of Revelations 21:4. At the time, the song did not mean much to me but when I got faced with storms in later years, the song became a pillar by which I was able to go through.

Revelations 21:4 may refer to the new Jerusalem but as a candidate of the new Jerusalem, I can live the days of heaven upon the earth, according to Deuteronomy 11:21 (I didn’t know this at the time, I was just confessing it to the best of my understanding).

“that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which God swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.”

The song is still strong in my spirit till present day and still means the same thing and much more to me. I will like to encourage someone going through to practically memorize this verse and say it to yourself on a daily basis till you are fully persuaded, and even then, do not stop saying it. This will be our little exercise and don’t forget to hit me up when the change comes because it will, in Jesus name. Remain blessed and stay heaven conscious.
