Orji Ezekiel William, otherwise known as EZY-W was born May 22nd 1989 in Aba, a small city in the eastern geographical region of Nigeria. He is the first of three children of Mr and Mrs Oyiri Ogbonnaya Orji. The fair in complexion Afrocentric R & B Gospel Music Crooner, hails from Bendel Local Government Area (LGA) of Abia State. He attended the Kwara State Polytechnic where he studied accounting and graduated with an ND in 2011.
Ezy-W started singing since he was 12 years of age, and believes he was destined to become a Star. After many years of being inspired by music greats like Sinach, T-Sharp, Frank Edwards, Deitrick Haddon and few others he started writing his own songs and lacing lyrics to beats. In no time, his unwavering passion for God, in his resolves – and in himself coupled with his unquenchable fire desire for a platform to exert his talent, and realize his dream, made him join the Christ Embassy Church Choir where he first ministered as back up vocalist and then became the lead praise andworship leader thus, gained more exposure to music.
Beyond his six point one inch height and broad shouldered stature, Ezy-W has a huge frills voice and stage presence that is equally large. Recently, the phenomenal gospel music sensation shot a world class standard musical video of his first ever-international-new released hit single titled ” Chukwudinma”. In his native west African Language, Igbo, Chukwudinma means “God is Good”. However, during the making of this ground breaking and earth shaking musical video which featured the likes of T-Sharp, Jhiedy and Sag Orume, Super Screen Television engaged Ezy-W on a behind the scene interview where he declared to his fans : “Chukwudinma is Here”.
