I want to be the one

who makes you happy,

The one who puts a smile on your face.

When you look down,

I want your heart to leap with joy at the sight of me.

To be your joy and gladness is my muse,

Your pride and glory is my all,

Dear God,

What can I do to make you happy?

To be the one who puts a smile on your face.

What will I give,

What will I say,

What will ever be enough?

Take my hand,

I’m ready to give,

To follow.
