Gospel Singer who is set to drop her new video on the 16th of April 2014 which also happen to be her birthday – Funmi Praise – has become the most sensational Gospel artiste of the moment with the social media buzzing over her soon to be released effort. In the new video, Funmi Praise featured another Gospel heavyweight Eben, bringing the best of urban to a classic/contemporary praise medley.
Although, the social media may have recently caught the bug of Funmi Praise’s fever, Funmi is not a rookie in the industry, She recorded her debut album in 2011, featuring artists such as Mike Abdul, Segun Obe, Eben, with powerful songs such as “Oba nla” and “Oba toto” with production credits to veteran gospel producer, Wole Oni. She also performed “Oba Toto” at Woodclef Open Mic Concert Season 1 last year. Woodclef Open Mic Concert is a blend of music, comedy, drama, dance and educative talk show and featured artistes such as Olumide Richards, Bola Zion, Nuel Praise, Tolazee, Shammah Micheal,Kayode Olusoji, amongst others.

Funmi is currently a music minister/Praise and worship leader at the Love Assembly International Church, Lekki, Lagos. She has ministered over the years in different churches and platforms and has worked with renowned artistes such as Segun Obe, Mike Abdul, amongst others.
Funmi said:

She is happily married to Robinson Isichei, an associate pastor at the Love Assembly International Church, and they are blessed with two lovely children.
