There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13
God can place you in an unfriendly environment to cause a change but God cannot place you in an evil situation.
The word of the Lord said we are led into temptation when we are carried away by our lust. God does not tempt anyone with evil but He sometimes chastise His children to bring them to His knowledge, revelation and maturity.
So what should be our attitude towards unfriendly situation. Ask God to show you why you are in that place and the way out; but wait for God to act before making your move.
There was an unfriendly situation once at a wedding Jesus attended. Jesus mother told those who had followed him to seek Jesus’ help that whatever He tells you to do, do it. I’m saying the same thing to you too. He may tell you to remain there, he may tell you to do something against your desire. If the end result is good before God, then forget about yourself for a minute and do it.
You cannot return hate for hate. It is too much noise and blocks the flow of communication between you and God, so whatever it is, don’t get angry, don’t hate, learn to love the “unlovable.”
Seek for the will of God for the situation and establish it. There is a word for every situation we go through in life. The word is your title deeds when the situation is the worst. It’s your anchor that keeps you from slipping into darkness.
Let your voice be the voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord, make His path straight. Worship God in the wilderness. When you worship, God will show up.
