0

Pope Francis marked his final day in the U.S with a visit to the Philadelphia Prison where inmates built him a handcrafted walnut throne chair as a gift.

The Pope encouraged the inmates at Curran-Fromhold prison telling them to get their lives back on track. He thanked the inmates for the large wooden chair that they made for him, calling it beautiful.

It is the first time a Pope has visited a US prison and would forever be remembered.
