When you see the new crops of Christian rappers today giving props to Snatcha or Sokleva of the Rooftop MCs, believe it, it is not hype! Music wasn’t has accessible as it is these days when the duo came up with masterpieces such as “Shock Therapy” and “Lagimo” that followed.
Their songs were witty, metaphoric and pure. “Shock Therapy” was one of the first singles that caught the masses attention and the rest is History.
Snatcha and Sokleva are unapologetically open about their christian faith and do not shy from bringing this perspective to bear on every song they make. They are just as light hearted as they are serious but whatever way they swing on a record, Jesus and his message remains their true North.
