Afro-fusion artiste Gaise comes out with a new single titled “Wonbiliki Wobia”.
Produced by the prolific ID Cabasa, the sound is fresh and Afrocentric. A traditional folk song, although with contemporary infusion, it carries the weight of the impact a folktale message. The string instrument complements the tone, mood and emotions conveyed on the vocals.
The single follows the concert “Korinsódì; an evening with Gaise”, which held in May. Before the single, Gaise had treated us to a love song “Titilai”. The single was apt for the moment it was released as it was around the time the Afro-fusion artiste got married.
