The feature film that chronicles the rise of Christian band Hillsong UNITED is finally ready for release by world renowned ministry Hillsong.
It was announced last year the the Australian Christian band will be releasing a film that will chronicle the rise of the band but the date has been set and we await the release this September.
The trailer of the feature film “Let Hope Rise.” has been released and the clip shows the leader of Hillsong United, Joel Houston, shares about loving others and being honest about faith and the importance of the cross and allowing people to see it for what it is. He maintained that Christians are called to open their arms and love others.”That’s honestly what the Gospel is all about,” he said.
Directed by Michael John Warren, (the director behind the popular Jay Z film “Fade to Black.”), the film will take viewers on Hillsong’s journey, which started in a tiny church in the Sydney suburbs to an influential international ministry whose songs are sung every Sunday by more than 50 million people across the globe. Their songs are recognized all over the world and have been translated into 60 languages. They sold more than 17 million albums.
“Hillsong-Let Hope Rise” hits theaters nationwide on Sept. 16.
