Attention Christian Parents! Obiora Obiwon Speaks Up As Disney Airs Gay Kissing Scene

Disney Airs Gay

Gospel music artiste Obiora Obiwon is speaking out for the Christian parents and children as Disney airs gay kissing scene for the first time.

Read below:

This is the world we live in now. A belief in the exclusivity of sex and marriage between man and woman is no longer acceptable in the world today. The normalization of homosexuality is being preached everywhere. Africa can only resist for so long. The media is the biggest podium for this “evangelism” and they are coming straight for your children in the cartoons (do you even know the shows and stations they watch?).

What’s our plan for preserving our values? We have to go beyond ‘rejecting it’ to finding actionable strategic ways of protecting the pure Christian values we instill in our children and hold dear for our families and our faith walk, backing it up with specific prayers. My ultimate earnest desire in all of this is… MARANATHA. .

Read the news below:

Disney aired its first ever gay kissing scene in an episode Star vs the Forces of Evil which shows on Disney XD.  In one scene, the cartoon, protagonist Star and her friend Marco attend a concert and find themselves surrounded by kissing couples. Among the crowd two men can be seen sharing a smooch and later in the episode two, some lesbian couples are also spotted kissing.

Disney has also produced a version of Beauty and the Beast which has gay scenes.

In the film, starring Emma Watson, manservant LeFou will explore his sexuality after developing feelings for macho leading man Gaston. The movie is yet to air.

Ese Songbird proffers solution:

Had to stop my children from watching Disney Junior. All I kept hearing was “sorcery”, “witches”, “casting spells” , “magic”… I replaced it with leap frog learning CDs & other games like puzzles/outdoor games. I’d rather have them learning shapes, sizes & solving math problems than casting a spell on each other. They are trying to indoctrinate our children in a subtle way. We must stand against it.

Obiora Obiwon weighs in:

You know all they need to tag us hateful, bigoted and discriminatory is our fear-laced outrage and choice of words. We need to move from giving them what they want with our reactions, to a wiser, calmer but very strong resolve in standing for what we believe in, our right to believe what we wish, our right to be vocal about it, without necessarily going into “spiritual arguments” with people whose eyes have been veiled. Will persecution still come? Surely, can’t be totally avoided, but let no one question our love for all humanity.
