Famous fashion designer, Giorgio Armani has reportedly donated $1.4 million to help tackle Coronavirus outbreak in Italy.
Following the widespread of the deadly virus in countries across the globe with Italy and China recording the highest rate of casualties so far, the Italian fashion mogul has reportedly donated $1.4 million to help tackle Italy’s Coronavirus outbreak.
According to news outlets in the country, the death poll resulting from the deadly virus as risen to 631 with 126 of them recorded in a single day which also resulted in the nation’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announcing that the whole of the national territory would be placed under lockdown over rapid spread of Coronavirus in Europe’s worst-affected country.
Armani, who is worth $6.7 billion donated the money to three Milan-based hospitals as well as Rome’s Spallanzani hospital and the Civil Protection Agency, a company spokeswoman said.
