Teni Makanaki Reach Records Summer 2020 Playlist collaboration with Wande & Toye – Come My Way
Celebrated Nigerian singer Teni has featured on Reach Records Summer 2020 Playlist, on a track titled “Come My Way” by Reach Records artiste of Nigerian descent Wande. The track also features fast Rising artiste Toye.
Born Yewande Ishola, Wande got a Rapzilla Fresh man nod is 2018 that caught the attention of Reach Records. She got signed to the label having been an A&R administrator under the label. Wande is the first female artiste on the label after 16 years of its existence. She is an Austin, Texas native.
Oluwatoyin Oladehinde, better known as Toye is also of Nigerian descent. He is a American singer/songwriter born in Atlanta, Georgia.. He has opened for Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide and has a feature with Wizkid.
The single “Come My Way” by the first female artiste Wande and features Nigerian Pop star Teni who needs no introduction, is a song of hope and inspiration. It declares the unseen, calling forth God’s blessings in the place of the vicissitudes.
Reach Records released its Summer 2020 Playlist last weekend. The playlist features tracks from the label artistes including Andy Mineo, Tedashii, Lecrae who is the label head honcho, Melvillous and more. Wande is credited for 2 tracks off the playlist namely: “Woo” (Prod. by Jesse Calentine) and Come My Way.” (Prod. by Ace Harris & DJ Tag)
Nigerian Christian Rapper Limoblaze is also credited for the track titled “Little Longer” (Prod. by Ace Harris & Chris Howland) featuring Melvillous and Cass.
Both “Come My Way” and “Little Longer’ are Afrobeat tracks off the Reach Records Summer 2020 Playlist.
