“Children Are A Heritage” – Chris Pratt Welcomes Daughter With Bible Verses On Instagram

Hollywood actor Chris Pratt has welcomed his first child with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger. He shared the news along with scriptures in an Instagram post on Monday.

“We are thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt.  We couldn’t be happier,” Chris Pratt wrote on Instagram.

The “Jurassic World” star revealed that both mother and baby are doing great, adding, “We are very happy. Love Katherine and Chris.”

Chris Pratt also shared two Bible verses with his more than 28 million followers. In each verse, the award-winning actor expressed his gratitude for his newborn child.

“Psalm 126: 3, the Lord has done many things for us, and we are full of joy,” he also shared Psalm 127: 3-4 and wrote: “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”

Katherine’s brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger, who had a weekend shopping spree for the newborn in Santa Barbara, California, told Entertainment Tonight that both mother and baby were fine. “He’s doing great. He’s just got a little gift.”

The 30-year-old author, who is the eldest daughter of actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver (niece of the late President John F. Kennedy), has previously talked about how amazing her family was during pregnancy.
