A photo of Hollywood actress Candace Cameron Bure and her husband Valeri Bure has received backlash due to what some termed “inappropriate” as the Christian celebrity couple displayed intense PDA in public.

Candace Cameron Bure and husband Valeri Bure met in 1994 at a hockey game. Two years later, on June 22, 1996, they became husband and wife.

With more than 20 years of marriage, the flame is still very much alive for the love birds.

And this was made very clear by Candace in a playful photo shared in her Instagram.

In the picture Valeri, Candace husband has his hand over Candace’s shoulder, lowering it to her right chest and grabbing it. However, many Christians have put the celebrities on the heels as some people think the image is inappropriate.

But Candice is not backing down and even re-shared the photo with the rejection of all controversy!

In the post, Candace Cameron shared two photos of herself and her husband, Valeri Bure, she captioned one, “sweet and spicy”, and the second “spicy”. Valerie’s hand is around Candace, with her hand directly on his wife’s chest.

Some people commented on it and advocated for public love (PDA) which they considered very enviable for a Christian celebrity.

Candice Cameron Bure is known for being outspoken. She is not afraid to talk about her faith. And she’s not afraid to face controversies. So, instead of reversing or deleting the image, Candace fired back.

“I’m sorry if it offended you; I’m not really sorry,” she laughed in a follow-up video she shared on her Instagram stories. “I’m glad we’ve had fun together for so many years.”

Candace said most of her followers like the photo. But for those who found it offensive, she insisted it was a reflection of her “good and healthy marriage” of 24 years.

“It makes me laugh because it’s my husband,” she replied in a follow-up video shared on her Instagram stories. “He can touch me whenever he wants and I hope he will.”
