It is not known if the academy, titled Yeezy Christian Academy, will function as an official school with a certified educational program.
The Twitter post was released with a video titled “Dear Future, I Still Believe in You,” a phrase repeated throughout the video. In the video, West’s children, North (7) and St. (4), as well as his nephew Mason (10) and niece Penelope (8), are wearing blue Yeezy Christian Academy T-shirts.
The video also features other children who say they believe in their family, the future. One child said, “We have homes for everyone in the future. Another said, ‘We have food for everyone in the future.’ Another said, ‘We have love for the future.’ Many children said, “Jesus loves all.” Towards the end of the video, the children all say together, “Let’s go with love!”
According to a press release obtained by Page Six, the Academy launched this week and “the video demonstrates the responsibility citizens hold for the future of children in America.”
