Christian rapper Charlz Dogo passes on
Christian rapper, songwriter, lawyer amongst others, Charles Danlami Dogo who was better known as Charlz Dogo has passed on following a long hard fought battle with sickle cell disease.
The young and vibrant soldier for Christ who only just released his highly anticipated project titled “Highs + Lows” following a long time away from the gospel scene was announced to have passed in the early hours of Thursday from sickle cell complications.
The late rapper had taken to his Twitter platform regularly to keep fans updated with his health status. On the 19th of May, he revealed to his fans that he was back in the ICU, as he urged them to pray for him before tweeting that he needed God more than ever which ended up being his last word to the public.

Some of Charlz memorable works include his 2016 fire mixtape titled “Yaron Dogo”, “Hau Kace” that was released in 2017, his recent work “Highs + Lows” that was only released this year to mention but a few.
A memorial page has since been created following his demise and heart felt tributes have been pouring in from his fans and lovers all over the world.

Christian rapper Limoblaze who was a very close friend of the late rapper recorded a tribute clip on his Instagram in loving memory of Charlz Dogo.

“My man Charlz Dogo is gone.. I am happy our paths crossed in this life brother.. We made music together, we shared so many wonderful moments together.. This hits very heavy, but I know I’ll see you again.. Rest In Peace my beloved brother and friend.”
