– Gospel Singer Nathaniel Bassey Laments High Traffic Situation In Lekki

Veteran gospel artiste and songwriter, Nathaniel Bassey cries out on what it means to live in Lagos while narrating the traffic situation in Lekki.

The “Hallelujah” crooner compared living in Lekki as “trials and tribulations” while citing that he has lost count on the amount of appointments and flights he has missed due to increasing traffic rate in the Lekki, Chevron axis to be precise.

Nathaniel Bassey also noted that the fact that developers are still building houses in Lekki with occupants who have at least two cars means that Lekki, Chevron, VGC, and Ajah may not really be the place to be.

“We need some creative solutions ASAP, besides just road expansion, can we come up with some sleek and safe transportation alternative to discourage folks from driving their cars? (Uber can do is, but today even the uber for is mba) while we also think of alternative routes,” Nathaniel Bassey said via his social media page.

“More enforcing of traffic rules, more personnels and sealing of bad potions that slows traffic. While we awaits the completion of the regional road linking phase 1. just musing.

“And per attitudes of road users, Yesterday i saw people with big church stickers on their bumper driving on the wrong side of the road and You can’t help but wonder if our brand of christianity permits that.”
