Pat Uwaje-King (Birth name; Patricia Uwaje) is a famous Nigerian Gospel singer and songwriter. She is a music consultant and leader of Midnight Crew, an award-winning gospel music group best known for their hit song “IGWE” among many others.
Pat Uwaje was born in Ibadan, Oyo state, into a family of seven children.
Pat studied Creative Arts at the University of Lagos. In 2009, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Theatre Arts. Patricia also obtained a diploma in Secretarial Administration from Yaba College of Technology. She has a Diploma in Spiritual Leadership gotten from the RHEMA BIBLE TRAINING CENTER, Lagos. She also has a Basic Certificate in Leadership from DAYSTAR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, Lagos.
Patricia’s singing career started at Christ Winners Church (Lagos) in 1999 at the young age of thirteen. At Yaba College of Technology, she was the music director of the school’s mass choir – Original Love Choir (OLC) which served a basis for establishing Midnight Crew; a gospel music quartet in 2001.
During studies at the Yaba College of Technology, she did a series of jingles and commercials for African Independent Television (AIT).
In recent times (from 2013), Pat Uwaje-King has taken part in various music projects and released solo albums and singles. She has released lots of singles, which includes “Thank You Lord”, “Amara”, “Jehovah Daalu”, “Eze”, “He’s Done me Well” and “All Power”.
On the 13th of June 2020, her Sophomore solo album “Amazing Grace” with 12 beautiful tracks, amongst which is the widely accepted “All Power Praise Medley” was released.

She is a creative professional singer with comprehensive background in performance; with over 20 years experience as a lead singer. She is also the creative director/consultant at GPK Music, a Music Company that handles multiple creative projects. It is a rehearsal studio outfit which specializes in music and event production.
As a Worship Leader, she has also led the David King Gospel Music Foundation, Lagos. Moreover, she has worked with different Church leaders and Ministry teams to foster positive impact in the Community.
