– Emir of Bauchi sings Jesus is coming soon as he plays host to Christians in his palace
The Emir of Bauchi, Rilwan Sulaiman Adamu, has caused quite a stir on social media with a video of him singing and telling of the second coming of Jesus despite being an important Muslim figure.
He hosted Christians at his Palace in celebration of the Christmas season. During the courtesy visit, the emir displayed exemplary religious tolerance and charity as he sang “Jesus is coming soon.”
During the course, the Emir also spoke to the Christians present about living an exemplary life.
He followed up with the song, reminding the Christians about the coming of Christ.
“Whether you like or not, Jesus is coming soon,” he sang to the excitement of the Christians present and they immediately joined him in singing.
The video has caused mixed reactions on social media with some saying that religious tolerance is healthy for the country, while others outrightly rejected the emir’s action.
